Mozaik

Andy Irvine and Dónal Lunny bring a European folk flavour to Midlands with their Mozaik band.

The Planxty duo have called on the services of acclaimed old-timey American fiddler Bruce Molsky, eccentric Hungarian multi-instrumentalist Nikola Parov and Dutch folk fiddler Rens van der Zalm.

Together they whip up an intoxicating brew of east European, American and Irish folk music featuring everything from Woody Guthrie tunes to Macedonian brass band compositions to the occasional Planxty classic.

Mozaik will have collectively flown in from Japan, Brooklyn, Budapest, Copenhagen and Leitrim to with us at Midlands.
