Welch
Grammy award winning, Gillian Welch is a singer-songwriter whose musical
style combines elements of bluegrass, new traditional country, and folk
into a rustic style that she dubs "American Primite" Her first
album Revival in 1996 was nominated for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Since
then, she has recorded 3 more albums and collaborated on songs such as "Didn't
Leave Nobody But the Baby" and "I'll Fly Away" on the hit
film O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack of the Coen Brothers.
