The AAI (American Automobile Association of Ireland) was formed by a small group of enthusiasts who remember these cars on the roads, and some even worked on the assembly lines here. The club has over 200 members, so there is a great cross-section of motors- Chevrolets, Dodges, Fords, Buicks, Cadillacs, Pontiacs, Chryslers, Lincolns, Plymouths.

There are 1970s Chevrolet Corvettes, 60s, 70s and 80s Camaros, some of the famous 55, 56, 57 Chevy Bel Airs, 70s Impalas and 40s and 50s Chevy Pick Ups.

The club has a lot of Fords including the Ford Mustang which come in many shapes like Fastbacks, Convertibles, Coupes, Mach One and Boss Mustangs. There is also the Ford Torinos like the one featured in Starsky and Hutch.

The club attends most of the classic and vintage shows in summer and at indoor events throughout the year.

The club runs monthly cruises throughout the year, usually a restaurant outing, which are very popular with both the motor owners and the public, judging from the fantastic reaction the motors get.

All makes of American motors are welcome in the club, both the older classics and modern American motors as well. Anyone with a love and interest in American cars is welcome to join the club and to come along to the shows and cruises.
